First things first, then. I’m not actually in Japan—yet! My husband and I, having lived there as singles for a year and a half to two years, are making our way back.

Now that we’ve been married for 3 years, we have two kids, and one college degree (my husband’s). All that’s left to do is:

• Finish my degree
• Get into the JET Program (…which we’re not headed for anymore… haha… now we’re working in the US for a few years, so we can apply for longer-term teaching jobs in Japan)

If we can manage that, we’ll be on our way! (Though I’ve heard that getting into JET is no piece of cake…)

I’ve started this blog once before, as a Weebly site. Now I’m transferring my posts to WordPress, rewriting anything that’s necessary, revamping old posts, etc., etc.

But believe you me, even if we don’t go now, we certainly will be going someday.

GOAL: Summer of 2025 — JAPAN!
